LJ Grocery and Panciteria is the largest Filipino store in Fort McMurray. We are owned and managed by a Filipino family, who migrated to Alberta, Canada, years ago.

Since we opened our door in July 2019, we have been proudly serving not just the Filipino community but the entire community of Fort McMurray, making sure they have access to high-quality Asian and Filipino store grocery items and other convenience products. 

To cater more based on our beloved customers' demands, we opened our second branch at The Commons, Eagle Ridge, and expanded our services. We now have a full-service restaurant we call The Panciteria, which means "noodle house" in the Filipino language. Here we serve a wide variety of famous Filipino noodles and other delicious meals like pork sisig, tinolang manok, and our best seller, the whole roasted pork, or LECHON, which we grill in-house and is always sold out! So you have to call in advance to get your hands on this succulent masterpiece! LJ Grocery and Panciteria also offers freshly baked pastiries and breads like egg pie, buko pie, cheese roll, pandesal and Filipino kakanin.We also have Halo-Halo and bubble teas!

LJ Grocery and Panciteria also have a meat shop; that offers fresh meat like prok, beef, chicken, and goat, as well as fresh seafoods. We feature a 3-day Palengke Day every weekend! Which is a perfect way to spend your Friday, Saturday and Sunday and experience a simple Filipino culture. "The Palengke Day" is a home-away-from-home experience. Authentic Asian and Filipino grocery items, fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, and seafood are being delivered every week, and you can have the first dibs straight from the delivery crates!

LJ Grocery and Panciteria also offers Western Union Money Remittance and Balikbayan Forex Box pick-up and delivery services.
